How to Obtain Your Boxcode
If you don't know your box code you can get it from OBD11, SL1 Tuning Dongle, or VCDS.

- Turn on your vehicle's ignition (The engine doesn't need to be started) - Plug in your OBD2 tool into the OBDII port - Launch the scan tool program - Select your Vehicle - Select Engine Control Module or Transmission Control Module under Control Units - Select Info - Your Box Code is the Software Number - Your Revision is the Software Version
SL1/Simostools
- Turn on your vehicle's ignition (The engine doesn't need to be started) - Plug in your scan tool into the OBDII port. Select Utilities - Menu - Engine Information
This information will be needed to start the tuning process!
